A SAP Case Study
Sharjah Cooperative Society (SCS), a retail cooperative in the United Arab Emirates, faced challenges with a lack of operational transparency, inefficient inventory management, and labor-intensive manual processes. To overcome these hurdles, SCS partnered with vendor SAP to implement a complete ERP solution, utilizing the SAP S/4HANA Retail solution and the SAP Model Company service for Core Retail.
By leveraging SAP's best-practice blueprints and expertise, SCS successfully automated key retail operations. The vendor's solution delivered specific scenarios for in-store production and meat processing and established an automated inventory replenishment process. This resulted in a massive reduction of the annual stock take from three weeks down to just five days, significantly increasing operational efficiency for the customer.
