AMMAN Streamlining procurement and vendor collaboration with cloud-based supplier management

AMMAN, through PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT), needed a more efficient and transparent procurement system to meet strict government and compliance requirements while reducing heavy manual effort in supply chain management. To support this, AMMAN worked with SAP and its cloud-based supplier management tools, including SAP Business Network Commerce Automation, SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, and SAP Ariba Sourcing.

SAP implemented an integrated supplier network and lifecycle solution that improved spend visibility, simplified supplier collaboration, and automated certificate and license management. The results were significant: within nine months, AMMAN was purchasing almost all goods through SAP Business Network, with more than 95% of goods sourced and 95% of documents managed on the network, helping process over 1,500 POs per week with minimal delays and reducing paper use by 214,000 sheets in six months.
