SAP helped AMAG Group, Switzerland's largest car company, to address the shift in customer focus from vehicle ownership to mobility services. The company's challenge was to expand beyond its traditional business of importing, selling, and leasing cars to ensure a competitive advantage and build a platform for digital transformation around connected vehicles.
The solution was the implementation of the SAP Vehicle Insights application. This allowed AMAG to gain full transparency of real-time vehicle data and integrate new mobility services. As a result, SAP enabled AMAG to increase its market share by providing these new services and to lower its total cost of ownership through scalable cloud solutions.
