A SAP Case Study
After a multibillion-dollar transaction, the railway engineering company Alstom faced the challenge of integrating its outdated, on-premise HR software into a single, agile, cloud-based system for its 31,000 global employees. To support its new corporate strategy and reinforce a startup-like culture, Alstom turned to vendor SAP and its SAP SuccessFactors solutions.
SAP implemented the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Talent solutions, achieving a global rollout in a record eight months. The results included a 100% satisfaction rate among staff, with 85% of performance reviews and 92% of talent reviews completed on time. The new system provided Alstom with higher HR efficiency, the ability to identify talent pools, and improved flexibility in reward and compensation.
