A SAP Case Study
Al Dahra, a major Abu Dhabi-based agribusiness responsible for food security and animal feed, needed better visibility and standardized logistics across its global supply network. Its manual, email- and phone-based tracking process and legacy systems made it difficult to manage international shipments, customer invoicing, and end-to-end traceability.
SAP implemented SAP Business Network for Logistics, along with SAP Business Network Freight Collaboration, SAP Transportation Management, and SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace, to create a single logistics control tower. The result was improved partner collaboration, automated tracking and invoicing, and more accurate real-time visibility across operations; Al Dahra onboarded 19 carriers to SAP and projected 100% visibility into logistics costs for better decision-making.
