Agri Evolve Transforming Digitally to Expand a Business with Social Purpose in and Beyond Africa

Agri Evolve, a social enterprise supporting coffee farmers in Uganda, needed a modern IT system to digitize its coffee supply chain, standardize data, and improve efficiency, transparency, and service for smallholder farmers. The company turned to SAP, using SAP Rural Sourcing Management and SAP Analytics Cloud to address its specialized agribusiness needs and support digital transformation.

SAP implemented mobile and integrated tools to streamline field operations, data collection, plot mapping, and purchasing, while enabling real-time visibility and better analytics. As a result, Agri Evolve achieved 80% more digital payments, a 90% reduction in handwritten voucher books, 70% digitalization across purchasing and production, and 100% automation in invoice creation, while also improving price transparency, sustainability, and farmer livelihoods.
