Adopting an employee-centered experience with SAP SuccessFactors solutions

AusNet Services, a utilities company supporting millions of customers in Victoria, Australia, needed to modernize its HR experience and improve time tracking and wage compliance. Its legacy system was difficult to use, siloed, and time-intensive for employees and leaders, and it lacked the controls needed to manage evolving workplace regulations effectively. AusNet turned to SAP SuccessFactors solutions to create a more employee-centered HR experience.

Working with SAP and IBM Australia, AusNet implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking, with an SAP Fiori-based app for desktop and mobile time entry. The new solution streamlined HR processes, consolidated 38 business processes from three systems into one, and cut HR administration time by 50%, with projected savings of US$1.8 million over five years. SAP also helped AusNet improve compliance, reduce over- and underpayments, and give managers better workforce insights.
