Adesso, a fast-growing IT services provider with more than 8,500 employees and 60+ international locations, faced a fragmented IT landscape across its subsidiaries. Using SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, adesso needed to standardize finance and accounting, speed up invoice handling and reporting, and automate routine processes like time tracking.
SAP helped adesso implement a unified cloud-based core, including the SAP Business Technology Platform and the in-house adtime app. The result was major efficiency gains: about 50,000 incoming invoices are now processed automatically, outgoing invoice booking errors fell from 5% to nearly 0%, incoming invoice down-payment processing time dropped by 63%, and customer invoice booking time was cut by 50%.
