Accelleron Standardizing business processes globally while complying with localization requirements using SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Accelleron, an industrial manufacturing company based in Switzerland, faced a major challenge when it prepared to spin off from its parent company. It needed to separate its organization, business processes, and ERP landscape across more than 45 countries within a compressed two-year timeline, while replacing a complex legacy environment of more than 20 on-premise systems. SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and related localization capabilities were used to support the transition.

SAP implemented SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, and localization as a self-service to standardize processes globally while meeting local requirements. As a result, Accelleron streamlined service operations, simplified compliance, and successfully launched 40 local versions in less than 2.5 years, including 7 created with self-service localization.
