Accelerating invoice posting with AI and SAP Build

BlueBoot Business Software, an SAP BTP specialist, faced the challenge of handling large volumes of vendor invoices that were being processed manually, causing errors, delays, and poor scalability. To address this, BlueBoot used SAP Build and SAP Document AI, premium edition, to create an AI-powered invoice-processing app integrated with SAP S/4HANA.

SAP implemented a solution that automated document extraction, validation, and approval through a custom SAP Fiori app and clean-core integration. The result was major efficiency gains, including 98.8% invoice automation accuracy, processing of more than 3,600 invoices per hour, faster approvals, improved compliance, and freed-up staff for higher-value work.
