Unit Trust Corporation (UTC) of Trinidad and Tobago, a financial-services provider serving over 550,000 customers, needed to replace paper-based, on‑premise HR processes with a streamlined, cloud HCM solution that reduced heavy IT involvement and met strict regulatory and compliance needs. UTC selected the SAP SuccessFactors platform (Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Recruitment, Compensation, Learning and Succession planning) to automate core HCM processes and integrate with its Payroll 123 payroll solution.

Using SAP SuccessFactors, implemented in partnership with HRIZONS, UTC deployed eight modules in 18 months (Aug 2014–Mar 2016), fully integrated Employee Central with Recruitment and Compensation, and linked Employee Central to Payroll 123 and Outlook Calendar for recruitment. The SAP SuccessFactors deployment delivered automated, auditable HCM processes, compliance-ready workflows (including 2nd‑level manager approvals), successful user training and post‑go‑live managed services, positioning UTC for continued HCM optimization and reduced IT overhead.
