SunPower Corporation, a global solar technology company, faced fragmented regional HR systems and lacked a consolidated, global view of its workforce after rapid growth (adding over 3,000 employees in three years). To standardize HR processes and improve talent management, SunPower turned to SAP SuccessFactors, implementing the SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite (including Employee Central and recruiting) and SAP Jam Collaboration.

SAP SuccessFactors helped SunPower build a single HR “grid” with self-service and mobile access, connecting employees across geographies and freeing HR to focus on strategic work. The solution cut approval times from weeks to 2–3 hours, improved workforce alignment and productivity, boosted employee engagement through collaboration in SAP Jam, and positioned the company to expand with additional SAP SuccessFactors capabilities such as Workforce Analytics and SAP Fieldglass.
