Taronga Zoo engaged SAP SuccessFactors to streamline time-consuming admin tasks across HR, finance and procurement, deliver unified notifications about zoo operations, and provide secure, simple access to core functions from any device. SAP SuccessFactors used SAP Cloud Platform and the SAP Cloud Platform Workflow to unify cloud and on‑premise systems and build the Stax Staff experience app for single-sign-on mobile and desktop access.

SAP SuccessFactors implemented the mobile-first Stax Staff solution, standardizing workflows and approvals and enabling staff to complete core functions in the field, which reduced onboarding time, lowered IT support demand, and freed staff to focus on guest experience and animal welfare. The project increased mobile access and staff productivity, improved engagement and notifications, and delivered measurable results such as 87% guest satisfaction with staff helpfulness and 33% of staff users now mobile-first.
