Metinvest Improving Employer Branding to Attract and Retain Bright Young Talent with SAP SuccessFactors Solutions

Metinvest, a global mining and steel group, needed to attract and retain bright young talent and highly skilled specialists while competing with more digitalized sectors and building an open, transparent, mobile employee experience. To address these challenges, Metinvest engaged SAP SuccessFactors, deploying SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals together with SAP Cloud Platform and the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile app.

SAP SuccessFactors rolled out Performance & Goals across six subsidiaries for 40,000 employees, replacing manual processes with a centralized, mobile-friendly performance management system that automates goal management, enables self-assessments, and fosters continuous manager–employee communication. The implementation helped Metinvest identify top performers and strengthen employer branding, delivered measurable impact (expected US$2 million in five-year cost savings, 52% less time spent on performance management, and 23% less time on routine HR administration), and laid the groundwork for a fully digital employee experience.
