Keolis, a Paris-based public transportation company with 54,400 employees, struggled with paper-based HR processes, spreadsheets, poor manager visibility, lack of a recruiting system, and data-compliance gaps that hampered internal mobility and applicant tracking. To modernize HR, Keolis selected SAP SuccessFactors and its cloud HCM suite (including Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Compensation, and Succession & Development).
SAP SuccessFactors, working with SuccessFactors Professional Services, deployed the suite to provide employee self-service, a talent-pool database, and streamlined recruiting and performance workflows. As a result, 1,800 people managers now use the system across France and Belgium, performance-review data entry rose from 66% to 94%, recruiting processes and HR efficiency improved, and Keolis achieved cost savings and better access to reliable HR data—while preparing to roll out SuccessFactors Learning and expand the solution internationally.
