TEWAY (Sichuan TEWAY Food Group) is a leading condiment and hot-pot base manufacturer that saw rapid growth after its 2019 IPO but struggled with isolated data, manual HR processes, and insufficient IT infrastructure. To standardize master data, integrate business and finance across brands, and enable intelligent operations, TEWAY adopted cloud solutions from SAP, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central) to modernize its systems.
Using SAP SuccessFactors alongside SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Preferred Success, TEWAY built a cloud-based business–finance integration and an HR middle-platform that consolidated eight applications and created a single source of truth. The SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central became the central employee repository, enabling real-time management, reducing DevOps complexity and infrastructure costs, and delivering measurable gains: 80% of applications now in the cloud, quarterly financial reporting in 5 days, a 50% increase in maximum employee productivity, and an 82.5% reduction in marketing expense settlement time (from 40 days to 7).
