KEC International Limited, a global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, faced a fragmented IT landscape, limited analytics, manual processes, and weak end-to-end governance that hindered decision making. To drive its “Project Phoenix” digital transformation, KEC partnered with SAP SuccessFactors, leveraging SAP S/4HANA, SAP ActiveAttention, and related SAP services to modernize core processes across bidding, manufacturing, and project execution.

SAP SuccessFactors guided a Big Bang rollout of SAP solutions—including SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, Commercial Project Management, Master Data Governance, and Equipment and Tools Management—delivered in eight months. The implementation enabled cross‑functional collaboration (bidding to billing), improved commercial invoicing and bid estimation, integrated design-to-manufacturing processes, and now runs at more than 200 project sites and five factories across 34 countries, with timely multi‑country go‑lives and no major issues.
