Discovery Limited, a global life and health insurer with more than 12,000 employees, needed to digitalize HR to support its “Ambition 2023” goals and ensure highly engaged people to serve millions of customers. To replace disparate legacy systems and create a single source of truth, Discovery partnered with SAP SuccessFactors, implementing the SAP SuccessFactors Human Experience Management Suite alongside SAP Digital Business Services and SAP Jam.

SAP SuccessFactors standardized and automated HR processes, established a central HRIS and master employee repository, enabled real-time KPI reporting and manager self-service, and rolled out mobile and social collaboration tools. The solution delivered measurable impact: saving 519 hours per month (about 3 FTEs), shortening approval cycles by two days, building a 73,000-candidate talent pool, onboarding over 1,900 hires in just over two years, and speeding recruitment and performance engagement across the group.
