ATB Financial, a Alberta-based bank with about 6,000 employees, needed to resolve capacity and performance issues in its SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central deployment to fully realize the system’s value and sustain its strong workplace culture. To address configuration, process, and utilization gaps, ATB engaged SAP SuccessFactors and its SAP Preferred Success services to diagnose why the solution wasn’t operating at full capacity.

SAP SuccessFactors ran an optimization workshop and, with SAP Digital Business Services and the SAP Preferred Success service team, implemented configuration and process repairs plus goal-based engagement planning, enabling ATB to adopt four additional Employee Central features and restore full system capacity. The work led to measurable impact — a five-year contract renewal, broader use of position management, payroll control, alerts and presentation features, and strengthened HR operations that support ATB’s employee‑care goals.
