SAP SuccessFactors implemented the Optimized Dynamic Pricing solution, delivering a complete pricing platform in seven months that added in-line analytics, waterfall analyses, automated quoting, and a flexible formula engine using market index publications (which account for over 50% of Ascend’s pricing). The deployment integrated with SAP ERP, improved productivity through automation, reduced human error and turnaround times for approvals and customer responses, and gave Ascend Performance Materials the transparency and forecasting needed to make smarter pricing decisions.
