PostNL, one of Europe’s largest mail and parcel delivery providers with more than 45,000 employees and about 5,000 seasonal workers, faced rising parcel volumes from e‑commerce and needed to maintain service reliability while attracting, retaining, and motivating thousands of hires each year. To simplify complex HR landscapes and give employees mobile flexibility, PostNL turned to SAP SuccessFactors (together with SAP Concur solutions, including Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll).
Using SAP SuccessFactors, PostNL built MyHR, a single cloud-based, mobile-first HR portal that automated manual processes and consolidated 15 legacy applications. The SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Concur deployment cut IT and HR costs by about 25%, shortened payroll cycles by 25% (saving five days), increased employee engagement and agility, and helped PostNL sustain leaner operations to keep deliveries on time.
