DERCO, a Santiago-based automotive importer and distributor with about 4,500 employees across Latin America, needed to deliver seamless, integrated HR and standardized payroll as it rolled out solutions country by country. To address this, DERCO partnered with SAP SuccessFactors, deploying cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central alongside SAP ERP Human Capital Management and leveraging the SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council and SAP Preferred Success plan for project support.

SAP SuccessFactors implemented an integrated Employee Central–SAP ERP HCM solution and provided one-to-one expert guidance through the advisory council and Preferred Success plan, accelerating deployments, avoiding customizations, and reducing consulting effort. The initiative delivered measurable impact — about 10% faster project completion, roughly 80% savings on partner consulting fees and US$4,250 saved in partner implementation costs — while strengthening workforce collaboration and streamlining HR initiatives.
