Bennett Coleman & Company, owner of The Times of India and India’s largest media conglomerate, faced an aging, highly customized IT stack that limited innovation and strained resources as it pushed into new media. The transformation cut storage costs by about US$4 million per year, improved customer satisfaction, reduced help‑desk calls and boosted productivity to save a projected Rs 1 crore (≈US$130,000) annually, resolved 57% of incidents in real time via Expert Chat, and upskilled internal teams through the SAP Enterprise Support Academy.
