Mainova AG, a leading energy provider in Frankfurt serving over one million customers, needed to modernize HR data maintenance as it moved from an on‑premise system to the cloud. To eliminate time‑consuming manual updates and improve core HR data quality, Mainova engaged SAP SuccessFactors, deploying SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central alongside SAP BTP capabilities.

Using SAP SuccessFactors together with the Ingentis business rule trigger built on SAP Business Technology Platform, Mainova automated propagation of HR updates so configured business rules run every five minutes and update related objects without manual mass uploads. The solution was implemented in two days with no coding required; restructuring tasks that used to take one to two days now complete in about 10 minutes, markedly improving data quality and freeing HR resources.
