Grupo México – División Minera AMC, part of one of Mexico’s largest mining companies, consolidated its Mexico, Peru and U.S. operations and needed to unify roughly one million transactions a year across three countries. To improve access to information, standardize best practices and reduce costs it implemented integrated cloud software with SAP SuccessFactors (alongside SAP Ariba Spend Analysis, Contracts and Sourcing) to manage data and processes across the new Americas division.

SAP SuccessFactors enabled a centralized view of data and objective KPIs to measure skills, performance and spending while SAP Ariba tools used text mining to classify spend and speed up sourcing and contracting. The combined solution gave Grupo México enterprise-wide visibility, raised employee performance and satisfaction, and delivered measurable impact — cutting costs by 10% over three years and reducing annual operational expense growth from 7% to 3%.
