Eskenazi Health, part of the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County (HHC), faced operational silos across its healthcare, government, public health and public safety divisions that caused inefficiencies, duplicated work, complex auditing, and poor user experience. To consolidate systems, improve governance, and simplify employee experiences, HHC partnered with Deloitte to deploy SAP technologies including SAP SuccessFactors, SAP S/4HANA Finance and Supply Chain, and SAP U.S. Benefits Administration.

Using SAP SuccessFactors and the broader SAP suite to centralize recruiting, onboarding and benefits, automate HR workflows, and modernize finance and supply‑chain processes, Eskenazi Health achieved measurable gains: benefits administration improved 94%, HR freed 45–60 days and saved 100 hours/month during open enrollment, 2,000 manual entries were eliminated annually, PO processing time dropped 85%, vendor and material master data fell 72% and 77% respectively, self‑service reporting saved 150 hours and ad‑hoc reporting improved 80%. SAP SuccessFactors now forms part of the administrative backbone alongside Epic, boosting employee productivity, retention and enterprise analytics to better serve patients and the community.
