Hovis, a UK baking and flour-milling business with about 3,600 employees, faced fragmented HR processes, many manual tools, and a split between office and frontline colleagues that prevented company-wide HR data, consistent recruiting, and online job posting. SAP SuccessFactors built the “My Hovis” HR system to centralize HR data, enable mobile self-service, automate recruiting and onboarding, and run an HR shared-service center. The rollout delivered measurable gains: 100% digitized HR data, 40% lower external headhunting costs, 70% of staff active within five months, 700 CVs registered in the first 12 weeks, a 1,200+ person talent community, and 95% of service-center queries resolved — improving hiring, engagement, and consistent delivery of HR services.
