Hovis, a UK baking and flour-milling business with about 3,600 employees, faced fragmented HR processes, many manual tools, and a split between office and frontline colleagues that prevented company-wide HR data, consistent recruiting, and online job posting. To modernize HR and improve engagement, Hovis selected SAP SuccessFactors and deployed solutions including Employee Central, Employee Central Service Center, and Recruiting.

SAP SuccessFactors built the “My Hovis” HR system to centralize HR data, enable mobile self-service, automate recruiting and onboarding, and run an HR shared-service center. The rollout delivered measurable gains: 100% digitized HR data, 40% lower external headhunting costs, 70% of staff active within five months, 700 CVs registered in the first 12 weeks, a 1,200+ person talent community, and 95% of service-center queries resolved — improving hiring, engagement, and consistent delivery of HR services.
