Housing NSW Builds Future Workforce Foundation with SuccessFactors

Housing NSW, a 2,500‑employee human services agency in New South Wales, faced rising homelessness, more clients with complex needs and an ageing workforce — with 17.3% of staff approaching retirement — that threatened future service delivery. To forecast demand and supply, close skills gaps and build leadership capacity, Housing NSW engaged SAP SuccessFactors and adopted its Workforce Planning and Workforce Analytics solutions.

SAP SuccessFactors helped adapt its workforce‑planning model for Housing NSW, introduced workforce profiles into business planning, supported data cleansing and job‑family mapping, and helped deliver a five‑year workforce plan, a capability framework and the “Building Leaders Together” leadership program (around 90 managers). The engagement produced a credible baseline for gap analysis, significantly improved data and analytics capability, aligned HR with business drivers, and delivered ready‑to‑implement recruitment, retention and development strategies.
