H-E-B Mexico, a retail division of H-E-B with about 7,300 employees, faced outdated, paper-based employee data, misaligned job profiles, time-consuming processes, and weak ways to measure behaviors. To address these challenges H-E-B engaged SAP SuccessFactors and implemented SuccessFactors’ Talent Solution to modernize HR processes and data.
SAP SuccessFactors rolled out a suite of modules (Performance and Goal Management, 360 reviews, Employee Profile, Succession, Development and Recruiting) between 2008–2009, enabling H-E-B to become a self-sufficient HR organization. As a result, all employees now have business and development goals, performance management is segmented by position, executives and high‑potentials have development plans, decision-making uses timely data, and internal recruiting is easier—benefits delivered across H-E-B’s 7,300 employees.
