Genesis Energy, a New Zealand utilities company with about 1,200 employees, needed to modernize HR processes, improve onboarding and consolidate employee data for better reporting and employee experience. To address this, Genesis partnered with SAP SuccessFactors and deployed solutions including SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, Employee Central, Recruiting and Learning to streamline recruitment and HR transactions.

SAP SuccessFactors delivered an integrated HR suite—highlighted by the first Australasia integration of SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 with an external ATS—enabling Genesis Energy to transform how it captures, maintains and reports employee data. The implementation simplified onerous HR tasks, improved the onboarding experience and strengthened Genesis’s HR data strategy, representing a clear milestone for the company and the region.
