Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC), a New Zealand farmer cooperative, needed to improve the efficiency and transparency of its core HR processes—eliminating manual data entry, standardizing HR on one system of record, and speeding workforce reporting. To address this, LIC selected SAP SuccessFactors and deployed a suite of core HR solutions including SuccessFactors Employee Profile, Performance & Goals, Succession & Development, and Compensation.
Working remotely with SAP SuccessFactors experts, LIC quickly went live and gained real-time visibility into performance, compensation, and succession processes. The implementation eliminated 67 hours of managerial delay in remuneration calibration, saved about 1,800 hours annually and one headcount, cut several days of pay-calibration meetings, and yielded $1,500 in consulting-fee savings—while dashboards and reports reduced meeting overhead and made the remuneration process “1,000 times better,” according to LIC.
