Landratsamt Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, the county administration in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, needed a digital “Integration Portal” to coordinate support services for migrants and refugees across 54 local authorities and eliminate long, complex e‑mail chains. To build a one‑stop communication and collaboration platform that volunteers and employees could use securely and on mobile devices, the county selected SAP SuccessFactors and its SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone solution.

SAP SuccessFactors migrated the region from SAP Jam to SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone (completed in one week), implementing dedicated workspaces and establishing more than 50 community groups to enable cross‑regional collaboration. The SAP SuccessFactors deployment delivered a modern mobile user experience with very high acceptance, created a single Integration Portal that increased visibility of services and transparency (100%), and improved productivity by streamlining communications and workflows across the region.
