Purolator, one of Canada’s largest courier companies, faced fragmented HR systems that limited visibility into workforce needs and made it hard to support employee development across the lifecycle. To unify HR data and better engage frontline staff, Purolator deployed SAP SuccessFactors Human Experience Management (HXM) Suite and associated Employee Experience Management tools.

Using SAP SuccessFactors, Purolator implemented a phased, integrated HR foundation—covering learning, talent, recruiting, performance, compensation and succession—plus Qualtrics-enabled pulse surveys to capture frequent feedback. The solution streamlined hire-to-retire processes and drove measurable impact: employee engagement rose 7 percentage points (71% to 78%), survey response rates jumped from 37% to 80% (a 43% increase), voluntary turnover is just 4.2% versus a 12.5% national average, and the leadership program generated CAD 21 million in saved revenue. SAP SuccessFactors enabled the company to act on insights quickly and support rapid growth.
