Growmark, a US$8 billion agribusiness with about 3,600 employees, needed to integrate HR processes across functions, improve visibility across the employee lifecycle, automate manual tasks, and gain detailed COVID-19-related reporting. To meet those challenges, Growmark deployed SAP SuccessFactors solutions—centered on Employee Central and supported by SuccessFactors modules for recruiting, performance, compensation, learning and people analytics—to provide cloud-based, mobile HR capabilities.

SAP SuccessFactors implemented Employee Central extensions and related modules to automate workflows, enable self-service (including official vaccine-eligibility letters), and spin up a COVID-19 vaccination monitoring module in under one day. The result was measurable: time and cost savings, reduced administrative workload so staff could focus on higher‑value activities, improved decision-making from faster access to employee data, agile staff planning based on COVID reporting, and a 100% reduction in paper forms for learning surveys.
