A SAP SuccessFactors Case Study

Preview of the DeLaval Case Study

DeLaval Creating the Workplace of the Tomorrow with SAP SuccessFactors Solutions

DeLaval, a global leader in dairy-farming equipment with about 4,500 employees across 42 countries, faced fragmented HR processes run on paper, spreadsheets, and bespoke tools that limited transparency, governance, and talent decision-making. To attract and retain top talent and create a more agile workplace, DeLaval turned to SAP SuccessFactors, deploying solutions including Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Succession & Development, and Compensation.

SAP SuccessFactors implemented a single global workforce view (ORIGO) with Employee Central and modernized performance, succession, and compensation processes with its talent modules, driving automation and clearer governance. As a result, DeLaval automated ~90% of HR processes, achieved 100% governance for HR processes, realized an 8% reduction in central HR costs since 2012 (with an expected 30% HR cost savings), and improved internal mobility, diversity, and incentive management thanks to SAP SuccessFactors.
