Compañía Minera del Pacífico, a Chilean iron‑ore and pellets producer with ~2,000 employees spread across many sites, needed to boost employee engagement and give workers self‑service HR access while shifting training from classroom to digital delivery. To achieve this, the company selected SAP SuccessFactors, including the SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite and SuccessFactors Learning, to modernize HR and learning processes.

Using SAP SuccessFactors (with partner Plum.io Inc.), CMP centralized hire‑to‑retire HR processes, rolled out self‑service tools and online microsession learning, and integrated performance and learning workflows. The change delivered measurable impact: 55,490 hours of online training in under two years, 90% of the workforce receiving ongoing digital training, 26% of training delivered as e‑learning, 100% participation in digital performance evaluations and broad improvements in digital learning adoption.
