Piller Group, a global manufacturer of high-performance blowers and compressors, faced a fragmented hybrid IT landscape after rapid growth and the adoption of many SAP cloud and on‑premise systems. Employees were forced to work across multiple solutions (including SAP SuccessFactors, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and others), creating onboarding, workflow and access challenges; Piller sought a single, central digital workplace to unify applications and information.

Piller implemented SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone (as part of the SAP Build portfolio) to create the PILLER Work Zone: a global intranet and mobile BYOD digital workplace with role‑specific workspaces, SAP Task Center as a single inbox, UI integration cards and SAC dashboards. Delivered in 12 months, the solution gives 100% of ~500 employees access, provides ~80% faster access to key workloads, consolidates apps and analytics, reduces development and support effort, and measurably improved employee experience and manager insights.
