Canada Life, a leading insurance, wealth management, and benefits provider, needed to unify learning and performance across three merged silos, enable remote upskilling and reskilling, and formalize goal-setting and assessments. To meet these challenges, the company extended its use of SAP SuccessFactors — deploying SAP SuccessFactors Learning with SAP Content Stream applications by Skillsoft and the SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals solution.

SAP SuccessFactors delivered an integrated, automated “People Zone” LMS and performance-management rollout that sped remote learning during COVID‑19, automated goal distribution, and provided analytics-driven talent management. The deployment drove measurable impact: a 63% increase in course registrations, >30% of employees visiting People Zone in month one (more than 10,000 items opened), 99% of employees with goals defined, 88% midyear and 96% year‑end assessments, an A+/A rating in training and skills development, and a 3% rise in engagement — positioning Canada Life’s learning team as a strategic center of excellence.
