ATB Financial, a Crown corporation headquartered in Edmonton with roughly 5,000 team members, needed to replace a legacy HR system that relied on manual entry, email and spreadsheets and offered little visibility or employee self-service. To transform HR into a centralized, transparent, people-first platform while minimizing customizations, ATB selected SAP SuccessFactors and contracted a suite of cloud solutions including SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, SAP Jam, Learning Management, and Workforce Analytics.

Working with Deloitte as systems integrator, ATB implemented the SAP SuccessFactors suite as a single, automated HR hub that delivers manager and employee self-service, end-to-end hire-to-retire visibility, and integrated payroll. As a result, all 5,000+ employees access personal and employment data (job title, salary, certifications, performance reviews), managers can complete onboarding/transfers/approvals without spreadsheets, payroll runs virtually out-of-the-box, and administrative tasks have been significantly reduced—delivering greater transparency and operational efficiency through SAP SuccessFactors.
