ASICS, the sportswear company based in Kobe, Japan, needed to replace fragmented, manual HR systems as it expanded its mission from serving athletic pros to helping everybody everywhere. Regional systems, different HR policies, and limited global visibility made it difficult to manage headcounts, organizational structures, workforce insights, and employee support across the business.

ASICS selected SAP SuccessFactors to create a centralized global HR platform with standardized processes across regions. With SAP SuccessFactors, ASICS now manages performance evaluations, recruitment, training, headcount planning, and HR analytics in one system, including mobile training for 740 retail staff. The company also reports that SAP SuccessFactors has improved efficiency and employee engagement, with one standardized system for HR processes across regions.
