Alfanar, a global electrical solutions provider with 20,000 employees across 15 countries, faced a fragmented HR landscape—local teams using hundreds of disparate applications, multiple logins, and inconsistent interfaces that hurt employee experience and productivity. To modernize its people systems and support a cloud strategy, Alfanar turned to SAP SuccessFactors and became the first company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to adopt SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone.

SAP SuccessFactors implemented Work Zone on SAP BTP (integrated with Employee Central and other SuccessFactors modules), using Identity Authentication, a mobile app and the “My Workspace” personalization to give employees a single, accessible digital workplace. The deployment went live in 14 weeks, 3,600 office staff have already signed up (with 1,400 to follow), and 100% of HR applications are now accessed through SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone—delivering day‑one access for new hires, faster approvals, positive employee feedback, and plans to extend the solution to 15,000 field and factory workers.
