Siegwerk Druckfarben AG & Co. KGaA (Siegwerk), a global printing-inks company with 5,195 employees, faced inefficient, paper-based HR processes across more than 40 entities and sought to standardize and digitalize HR to become a lean, future-ready organization. SAP SuccessFactors delivered a cloud-based, integrated HR suite—covering Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Succession & Development—together with SAP Concur for expenses, enabling employee self-service and mobile manager approvals. The implementation created a single standard platform for >40 entities and 5,195 employees, accelerated approval cycles, reduced reporting time from hours or days to minutes, improved recruiting transparency (>10,000 quarterly recruitment-site visits and a 14,000-strong talent pool), and transformed HR into a lean, digital organization.
