The customer HITSS Solutions, an IT services and consulting company and a subsidiary of América Móvil, faced the challenge of manually managing its energy, water, and gas consumption. This inefficient process was prone to human error, provided unreliable data, and made it difficult to balance economic and environmental goals, hindering the company's sustainability objectives.

To address this, SAP implemented a real-time energy management system built on the SAP Business Technology Platform, integrating SAP HANA Cloud and other BTP products. The SAP solution automated data collection and reporting, providing a single source of truth for consumption patterns. This resulted in significant savings of 14% in electricity, 9% in water, and 5% in natural gas, while also reducing the time for uploading invoices and generating reports by more than tenfold.
