A SAP HANA Case Study
Pacific Textiles, a Hong Kong–headquartered leader in customized knitted fabrics with production in China and Vietnam, faced a legacy mainframe and highly manual, batch‑centric operations that limited visibility and synchronization across sales, engineering, planning, manufacturing, warehousing, quality, and finance. The company needed a solid digital core to professionalize operations, support international expansion, and become an Industry 4.0 front‑runner.
Partnering with SAP Digital Business Services, Pacific Textiles implemented SAP Business Suite on SAP HANA to achieve horizontal and vertical integration across its supply chain and plant operations, including automated MRP, sampling, and recipe management. In a 12‑month rollout it halved month‑end close time, cut MRP runtimes to under two hours, eliminated many manual processes, delivered real‑time visibility into costs and value flows, and established a foundation for further Industry 4.0 initiatives.
