Provincie Noord-Brabant: Enabling Better Decision-Making with DataDriven Insights

Provincie Noord-Brabant is the provincial government in the Netherlands responsible for spatial development, mobility, regional economy, and cultural identity. Already a long-standing SAP customer, the province wanted to further digitalize and automate its processes to give employees, managers, and stakeholders faster, location- and fact-based insights — addressing the challenge of dispersed internal and external data and the need for a single source of truth and easy drill-down reporting.

Using SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA together with SAP Grants, Funding, and Real Estate Management and the SAP Geographical Enablement Framework integrated with Esri ArcGIS, the province consolidated operational, financial, and geographic data into intuitive dashboards. The solution simplified workflows and the user experience, reduced reporting effort, made information available at employees’ fingertips, and delivered a 40% faster availability of information and a single source of truth for program managers and partners.
