Nissha Realizing Continuous Business Transformation by Maximizing the Value of the Cloud

Nissha Co. Ltd., a Kyoto‑based high‑tech manufacturer of industrial materials, devices, and medical technologies, needed a more agile, cost‑efficient ERP to support ongoing digital transformation. The company faced a complex migration of its long‑running SAP ERP, SAP Business Warehouse, and access‑control systems into the cloud with only a three‑day allowable downtime, a geographically distributed team, and COVID‑related limits on onsite work.

Working with SAP Services and partners, Nissha used the selective data transition service to move 1 TB of data and 24 company codes into SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The 44‑week, largely remote project met its go‑live schedule, embedding the business warehouse and access control, improving UI with SAP Fiori, enhancing performance and reporting, and reducing total cost of ownership while giving Nissha a more flexible platform for future innovation.
