Mondodelvino, an Italian winery group selling award‑winning wines in over 50 countries, needed to modernize its data landscape to match its product innovation. Its existing on‑premise setup (SAP ECC, BusinessObjects and external files) lacked a centralized store for cloud, on‑premise, SAP and non‑SAP data, forcing IT into routine maintenance and leaving the controlling team reliant on slow, spreadsheet‑based planning.

The company deployed SAP HANA Cloud as a cloud‑native central access layer with multi‑model, real‑time processing, freeing IT to focus on innovation and enabling fast, data‑driven decisions. As a result, all data is unified and accessible, analytic and planning capabilities will be enhanced via SAP Analytics Cloud, and Mondodelvino is on track to complete a cloud transformation including a future migration to SAP S/4HANA.
