A SAP HANA Case Study
Ottogi Corporation, a pioneering South Korean food manufacturer known for introducing curry, soup, ketchup, and mayonnaise to the market, faced a barrier to continued innovation: legacy software and a fragmented digital architecture that made insightful, segmented analysis slow and labor-intensive, relying heavily on manual Excel work and limiting employee access to meaningful analytics.
To address this, Ottogi implemented SAP Business Technology Platform with SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Analytics Cloud, adding machine-learning models and intuitive dashboards that empower nontechnical users. The result: forecasting moved from monthly to weekly, full-day manual tasks were reduced to a few clicks, forecasting accuracy and granularity improved (enabling five weeks of predictions), more employees gained market-share insights, and the architecture now serves as a reusable blueprint for other analytics use cases.
