A SAP HANA Case Study
Re-In Retail International GmbH, a Nuremberg–based e‑commerce retailer with about 61 employees and €205 million in revenue, sells millions of items across its own stores and more than 10 marketplaces to over 8.3 million customers. The company struggled to keep product listings, stock levels and APIs up to date across channels, relied heavily on in‑house development to manage connections, and risked negative customer ratings from stock outages and manual sales processes.
Working with FIS/TradeFlex on SAP Business Technology Platform (plus SAP ERP, SAP HANA, SAP Integration Suite and SAP Fiori), Re‑In automated marketplace integrations, listing, order‑to‑cash, returns and inventory updates in near‑time. The implementation reduced development effort and costs, centralized sales processes, launched five new marketplaces in 12 months, processes hundreds of purchases automatically each day, improved scalability and employee experience, and cut stock availability issues—leading to better customer satisfaction.
