Telekom Srbija, a leading Serbian telecom provider with about 12,700 employees and €1 billion in revenue, faced growing competition and a fragmented IT landscape built from many in‑house applications and multiple vendors. The company needed to integrate and standardize business processes, improve process control and reporting, and create a scalable platform for growth and innovation.
Working with SAP West Balkans, Telekom Srbija deployed SAP ERP powered by SAP HANA plus SAP Solution Manager and training tools, replacing 31 legacy applications with 8 integrated modules. The rollout delivered major gains in speed, transparency, and control—10× faster processes, year‑end close reduced from 30 days to under an hour, a >30% reduction in applications, 30% shorter procurement times, far fewer manual bank items—and contributed to increased market value and a 2017 SAP Quality Awards gold win.
